Then their vulnerability, inexperience and helplessness are exploited on the one hand by those who find an opportunity to exploit them in some way, or on the other hand such young people become rebels and feel they have to fight for themselves at all costs without choosing means. Both ways of thinking and behaving lead to a sick state of consciousness, i.e. a way of thinking that results in the creation of a distracted, insecure, arrogant, aggressive and depressed person.
Addicts are people who have not come to know love and truth. These are people who did not want to, could or did not know how to resist the negative situations that led them to the situation they are in now. He becomes an addict. Addiction can be cured only there needs to be will and determination. Addiction is a disease to which only the weakest are subject, no matter how strong they seem to some people. Those people who have some kind of addiction, and they seem strong, they only have a strong ego that shows itself to the world. All persons who have a strong ego are weak persons, because there is no love, truth in them, nor are they connected with God.
If the addict wants change or wants to be cured, and thinks he has no strength, it is only his subjective opinion, running away from the possibility of healing, or his weakness and running away from change. We incarnate to change ourselves for the better through our behavior, thinking, and compassion in love and truth with God. Therefore, no one is allowed to flee from change forever. Avoiding change may be possible in this incarnation in the next very likely will not.
If you do not have the strength, desire and determination, and you are convinced that it is time for change and healing, look for it in your faith in God, look for it in your heart, be determined and you will succeed. The first step is the most difficult. The closer you get to the goal of healing, with God’s help, you will feel the strength in yourself and the indescribable urge to persevere and stop your bad habits. Stop punishing yourself for feeling powerless in your youth. You are not to blame for being forced to suffer this. God never leaves anyone. He is always with you and in you. You are a part of Him. He has given you a part of Himself to incarnate. You are truly a part of Him, so you ask Him to help you and He will gladly do it, you just have to show desire and determination.
If you turn to doctors, therapists, or any secular person you trust or think might be able to help you, you will not achieve your goal if you do not involve God in the rehabilitation process. Doctors say that addicts often return to their addiction just because God is not involved in the course of rehabilitation. Success is guaranteed if in rehab therapy you are constantly connected to God through your heart, in love for yourself and the truth.
