  • Laws and Rules

Laws and rules exist not to be respected and blindly followed, but to set the necessary boundaries of behavior in this chaotic world for those people who are not yet aware that they should behave and act positively and guided by love.

People who make rules and laws try to write them based on the system of the country of which they are citizens and the religion that is predominant in it. These rules and laws are not always in line with love, that is, they do not contain understanding, compassion and trust. However, in most countries, a certain democratic behavior prevails. Democracy is generally described as freedom of speech and behavior where decisions are made directly or indirectly by citizens or are made in parliament.

The problem with today’s society, which we call democratic, is that fewer and fewer people think about their behavior, speech, and the consequences of their actions. There are fewer and fewer people who have compassion and understanding for themselves and for the people who surround them every day. It is extremely important to have a lot of love for yourself, that is, to understand your actions, words, and deeds, because by understanding yourself, a person becomes more positive and stronger. This means that a person understands that there is a reason behind everything that has happened to them and is happening, and that there is something to learn from it. By understanding themselves, people begin to love themselves. When someone loves and embraces themselves, they can then direct this to the people around them.

What is happening more and more these days is alienation. This alienation starts in the parental home, happens in kindergarten, school, workplace and later in family life, all due to a lack of love. Parents abuse their children verbally and/or physically because they don’t love each other. Often, not knowing the real reason for their dissatisfaction, they direct their frustrations at their children instead of going to a psychologist and/or psychiatrist and talking openly about themselves, their behavior and the negative events in their lives. Today, everyone still avoids going to a psychologist and psychiatrist, because they believe that society will stigmatize them. In some countries, it is natural to have your own psychologist to explain everyday situations. Due to the fear of stigmatization, relationships in families can be extremely bad for the child who has to grow up in them. This is why there are laws and rules. Since parents are not or do not want to be aware of their unacceptable behavior, if they are reported to social services or the police, they are forced to make changes that they did not want to agree to before reporting. After that, everything depends not only on the law and rules but also on the person(s) the parents are talking to. Bribery and corruption exist in all societies, so it is extremely important that honest, fair, determined and moral people are in jobs that deal with the social system. Such people should of course also be in all high-level decision-making positions.

The fundamental structure of every society is the relationship between parents and children in the parental home. What a child will learn about behavior, understanding, compassion, trust, upbringing, and mutual relationships, a greater or lesser part of it will be transferred to behavior in adulthood.

Rules and laws are intended to at least somewhat stop or at least reduce and/or temporarily stop negative situations not only of bad relationships in the family but also bad and negative events in people’s everyday lives such as robberies, murders, accidents, corruption, abuse of children, women, exploitation of the helpless and weak, and the like.

As long as people do not become aware of their mistakes (one should learn from mistakes, not repeat them), it means that they will not want to know themselves, which means that they will not want to change for the better. The reason for this is that they have little understanding for themselves, and this leads to the conclusion that they have little love for themselves. As long as people do not have love for themselves, they will not change their bad habits and behavior, which consequently means that the society in which we live will be in an increasingly worse state.

Changes come from within ourselves. People need to want to change bad habits and behaviors that harm themselves and others. Only in this way will healing of each individual and society as a whole be possible. Until this process is initiated, we will be dependent on laws and rules created by individuals who themselves still have a lot to learn about themselves.
