We express our feelings through facial expressions, whether we are eating, listening to someone, participating in a conversation, speaking, feeling certain emotions in our bodies, such as pain, happiness, confusion, etc., or thinking about what has happened to us or what could happen to us given the current situation and the possible outcome of an event.
Few people can have a “stone” face, that is, one whose face cannot be read. Only trained people can do this. Even then, facial expressions can occur on their faces.
Reading facial expressions, or knowing facial expressions, is one of the very important abilities that God has given us. By reading a newborn’s face, a mother can see whether the baby is hungry, whether it is in pain, whether it is happy, or the most basic needs and feelings of her baby, since she cannot speak to it telepathically. In childhood, children should be taught to recognize the facial expressions of adults and to know how to read and connect them with feelings and speaking the truth, because this can help them to truly understand whether an adult is lying and whether they want to deceive them or are sincere in their speech. In this way, the child is enabled to follow and accept their intuition, which will help them immensely in later life. This means that parents need to talk a lot with their children about the situations in which the child finds themselves every day, they must be honest and understanding, and explain a lot in a calm, trusting voice. In this way, the child gains the experience of seeing and not just listening to the people and situations that are happening around them.
